Giveaway: Getting Ready for an Awesome New Year!

For the last two years, I've rounded up my favorite planners and goal setting tools. Last year, I dished on my favorite planners for small biz owners right over here. And in 2015, I dished on how to use a planner to get your schedule straight.

This year, my shortlist of favorite planners drops down to just three little favorites!

First up, is the Daily Action Planner from Savor. I love this system because it gives you room for brain dumps and planning, but forces you to focus on the days and weeks instead of the years like most folks do when they whip out a planner. If you have a problem with setting a million goals every year that you'll never accomplish, you NEED this! It will stop that bad, bad habit in its tracks.

I also love how compact it is, so you can really take it anywhere without feeling like you are lugging a whole library in your bag. And can you imagine being able to start a fresh blank slate every month to get you motivated?! Ugh, so smart.

Next up, is not really a planner at all, but an intentional goal setting workbook known as the Make it Happen! Powersheets. If you aren't the planner type of person, this workbook is perfect for you. It gives you the ability to set real goals and evaluate your own efforts without dedicating yourself to daily actions in a paper planner. It's everything I think EVERYONE needs without hinging on using a paper planner on the regular.

The third pick is what works for me personally! I'm going on three years of using a Bullet Journal and David Seah's Emergent Task Planner. This combination with my Google Calendar is amazeballs for me - I can plan, brainstorm, set goals, and do it all the way I want to.
